"Get Myself Internship Chance in New York City for Next Summer"

How to Realize:

1, Master at least 2 software; Near Future: Install TransCAD to learn!

2, Read at least one paper in a week;

3, Collect more info about popular area/ quality in transportation field—- what kind of person companies would most likely to employ? Go into which sub-field would contribute to more promising future? —— Not only from Dong, also should communicate with old students graduated from our lab (the good side is that I have built a good relationship with an 2002 guy, who is the best students in our director’s mind, who also will help me contact with other students.)

4, Before this vacation to NYC (8.9), collect all the information about transportation companies in NYC, try to visit those companies and try best to communicate with them!! [May need much courage! Go Ahead, Girl! ]

**** Difficuties********

Next summer, I have to submit a paper for TRB (8.1) independently. Time arrangement? — So far, the only solution is to make the deadline 7.1 or earlier, that is, I have to finish the paper before 7.1, so that I can have the chance to do intern!  [Also should make clear at least how long an internship lasts in U.S ]

The above issue needs better solution;

The above issue requires me to make great efforts to finish the following project ASAP! — No time to waste.
